The Meyerson Symphony Hall, the Winspear Opera House, the Wyly Theater, and the Moody Performance Hall are the four venues in the eastern part of the Dallas Arts District.
Just west of the AT&T Center for the Performing Arts, you will find the Nasher Sculpture Garden, the Crow Collection for Asian Art, and the Dallas Museum of Art, all part of the enchanting Dallas Arts District.
The Perot Museum of Nature and Science is at the northwest corner of the Dallas Arts District. A walk through the lovely Klyde Warren Park takes you from the art, music, and theater venues to the Perot.
A gem in the heart of Dallas, White Rock Lake is over 1000 acres of beautiful pristine water encircled by a 9.3 mile jogging and hiking trail, all of which comprise the 2,000 acres of White Rock Park.
On the northern shore of White Rock Lake, just a few miles down Garland Rd. from Lucille's B&B, you will find one of the most beautiful and relaxing locations throughout Dallas, the Dallas Arboretum.
Southern Methodist University is the home of the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum.
On the campus of Southern Methodist University sits the Meadows Museum of Art, a wonderful venue to visit while enjoying the Georgian architecture of the campus.
if you are staying at Lucille's B&B for a number of days, you may want to include our Wild West jewel of a city, Fort Worth, on your itinerary. Not only will you discover the historic stockyards, but you also can enjoy the easy-to walk downtown with its classic Bass Hall, its Sundance Square, and its water gardens. And don't forget the art!
One of the remarkable facts about Fort Worth is that its art museums, especially the Kimbell, have a sterling reputation. Here you can browse the permanent collections or the current exhibits at the Kimbell Art Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, and the Amon Carter Museum of American Art.
